[ what with the whole dying thing. death isn't supposed to be the end of a soul, he knew that well enough, but jack wasn't sure if what he is really... counted. if his afterlife would ever be close enough to sam and dean's afterlives that he'd see them again someday. but, apparently it's worked out, since here sam is now. ]
